We collect only limited information necessary to enable networking within events:

a. User Profile Information

• Display name
• Title
• Short description
• Optional profile image

This information is provided voluntarily by you and is visible only to users who participate in the same event.

b. Event Participation Data

• Event ID
• Participation status (joined / left)
• Event duration

c. Anonymous Identifier

• We use anonymous authentication based on a device-generated identifier.
• We do not collect real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Enable profile visibility between participants of the same event
• Allow users to connect and network during an event
• Maintain the technical operation and security of the App

We do not:

• Sell your data
• Share your data with advertisers
• Track users across unrelated events
• Use your data for marketing purposes

4. Who Can See Your Information

Your profile information is visible only:

• To other users who have joined the same event
• For the duration of the event

Your data is never publicly searchable and is not visible outside the event you joined.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We follow strict data minimization and retention practices:

• All event data and associated user profiles are automatically deleted within 24 hours after the event ends
• Events may last between 1 and 5 days
• You may leave an event at any time, which immediately removes your profile from that event
• You may delete your profile data at any time from within the App

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage)
• Access is restricted using server-side security rules
• Profile images and data are accessible only to authorized event participants
• We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access

7. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Union, we process personal data based on:

• Your consent, provided when you create a profile or join an event
• Legitimate interest, limited strictly to enabling event-based networking

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your data or stopping use of the App.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Correct your data
• Delete your data
• Withdraw consent
• Object to processing

You can exercise most of these rights directly within the App.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International Users

Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including Google Cloud servers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App with an updated “Last updated” date.
